It's with heartfelt sadness that we communicate that Louise (a.k.a. "Lou-Lou," "440") passed yesterday. She was the inseparable adventure partner of her sister, Thelma, who survives her. Lou-Lou lived a wonderful life here at Paya the nine years she was with us. She brought her own special energy to the mix and will be greatly missed by her humans.
Protected as they are on the property, Paya Bay Resort is home to a thriving population of black iguanas. They can often be spotted sunning on the rocky shorelines between the beaches.
