glimpses of amsterdam

Taking advantage of a twenty-hour layover in Amsterdam, I took the train into the city and joined the 24/7 circus that this unique European urban center is so famous for being. I suspect I may have been Dutch in a past life, as I completely identify with the open-minded, live-and-let-live, it's-all-good way in which the people of the Netherlands approach the business of living.

something I love

At the moment I'm doing something I love: international travel. Yesterday I flew from Panama City (PTY) to Amsterdam on my way to Athens, Greece. My two-week stay in Greece will include a week in Crete and a week on the island of Mykonos.
