doing maintenance

As noted on the Paya Calendar, Oct. 6 through Oct. 19 are maintenance days (a total of two weeks) here at the resort. No guest stays are booked during this time, allowing our team members to take their well-deserved paid vacations. Our 2013 maintenance projects are underway and rapidly progressing (we hired a contractor and his crew to do this work). The photos below show some of the wall repair currently rolling in the clifftop bungalows. While the resort's oceanside location is spectacular and awesome beyond question, the associated harsh, relentless, seashore environment takes a heavy toll on manmade structures and related equipment. Maintenance is continuous (a word synonymous with 'expensive' in this context), yet so very important. We're excited about getting Paya's facilities repaired and spiffied up for the upcoming holiday and winter season. Our incredible guests deserve Paya in all its charming glory!
