an electromagnetic being

You are an electromagnetic being emitting a frequency. Only those things that are on the same frequency as the one you are emitting can come into your experience. Every single person, event, and circumstance in your day is telling you what frequency you are on.

If your day is not going well, stop and deliberately change your frequency. If your day is going swimmingly, keep doing what you are doing.

I'm possible

Memories of 2001. Celebrating in Paris with my soul siblings Scott Porter, Scott "Silky" Hayes, and Ms. Mignon "Miggy" Crawford. (I can't recall why we're shirtless in this photo... perhaps we were just feeling all Olympian, sexy, beyond silly bullsh*t, and larger than life). We had just rode (ridden?) our bicycles 500 miles over the course of a cold, rainy week through the European countryside from Amsterdam to the French capital. The four of us, along with several other Atlanta friends, were participants in a massive charity bike ride organized to raise funds for HIV vaccine research, a cause critical to the greater good, happiness, and well being of future generations of our species. This challenging, life-changing, unforgettable experience helped me realize that the paralyzing fallacy we label "the impossible" can be invalidated and rendered powerless by the simple realization that I'm possible.

Cast aside your fears and take that first courageous step toward your greater good (whatever it may be). Inevitably and like magic, the Universe (with its infinite power and intelligence) will instantaneously be at your side to guide you, assist you, and show you the way.

just suggesting

I'm not lying.... I'm just suggesting another possibility.

love me some hillary!

Aaaarrrghh! How dare you question my patriotism?! How dare you question my love for my country?! How dare you question my 1000% commitment to the greater good of the United States of America? HOW F**KING DARE YOU?!*

Mrs. Clinton testifies before the U.S. Congress about the tragic Benghazi event. You go, Madame Secretary!

This strong, formidable, awe-inspiring lady is one of my heroes.

viva los obama!

We, the people, declare today that the most evident of truths – that all of us are created equal – is the star that guides us still; just as it guided our forebears through Seneca Falls, and Selma, and Stonewall; just as it guided all those men and women, sung and unsung, who left footprints along this great Mall, to hear a preacher say that we cannot walk alone; to hear a King proclaim that our individual freedom is inextricably bound to the freedom of every soul on earth.

something more magnificent

So often when things change in our lives, we have such a resistance to the change. This is because when people see a big change appearing they are often fearful that it is something bad. But it is important to remember that when something big changes in our lives, it means something better is coming. There cannot be a vacuum in the Universe, and so as something moves out, something must come in and replace it. When change comes, relax, have total faith, and know that the change is ALL GOOD.

Something more magnificent is coming to you!

mira mijita

Mira mijita, no hagas nada bueno que parezca "malo;" ni tampoco hagas nada malo que parezca "bueno."
- sage advice my friend Zulema's aunt gave her

Translation: "Look sweetie, don't do anything good that appears to be 'bad;' nor do anything bad that appears to be 'good.'"

living every minute

Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.

the law of attraction is the law of creation

No-one is destined to live a life of poverty, because each of us has the ability to change everything in this life. The law of attraction is the law of creation, and it allows each person to create the life they want. Every person has their own unique circumstances to overcome, but every single person has the opportunity to achieve anything - and change everything.

reality collides with status quo stupidity

The city had asked the couple to uproot [their front-lawn vegetable garden] because it was against the landscaping code that requires permanent maintained ground cover with a finished appearance. The city threatened to fine Jennifer and Jason Helvengston $500 per day. Since then, however, the city has dropped the violation and is working to change the code itself.
It will be interesting to see how this significant little drama plays out.

when you no longer feel the need for it

It is when you no longer feel the need for money that money will come. The feeling of needing money comes from the thought that you don't have enough, and so you continue to create not having enough money.

You are always creating, and when it comes to money, you are either creating the lack of it or the abundance of it.

ever more convinced

I'm ever more convinced that anything you do in the nude is at least ten times more delicious, enjoyable, and relaxing than doing it with silly, hot, uncomfortable clothes on.

...aaaand... he's back!

I'm sure some of my friends who follow this blog have been thinking, "WTF's up with Davinci?! He's never been quiet this long!" The short story: the video card on my two-year-old MacBook Pro - unexpectedly and shockingly! - crapped out on me on precisely December 25th, 2012 (hmmmmm....). Non-techies, this means the screen of the laptop ceased working. As a result, I've been very handicapped without my beautiful silver machine. After recovering from the shock that one of Steve Job's babies could be anything less than perfect, and realizing that getting my Ferrari of a computer fixed was going to take a while, I went ahead and acquired a temporary PC solution to get back online. It's good to be back, even if I'm now driving a Yugo on the Information Superhighway!

Happy 2013, everyone! Here's to another awesome, adventure-filled circle around the Sun.

It only gets better!
