The organic herb garden looks especially happy after the rains. In the forefront is the oregano bush. This garden has been one of the most successful projects I've introduced since beginning my tenure as Paya's general manager in 2007. Our cooks have totally embraced the fresh herbs and you can taste the results in our restaurant's food. The exquisite decadence of homemade caramel-drenched cinnamon rolls always makes the anxiety of going through a tropical storm much easier to bear. Winzina (one of Paya's cooks) made these delicious treats for us this weekend. YUM!

seafood paella night

Monday nights are Seafood Paella Nights at Paya. We make a make a big table and invite all our guests to all sit together 'family style.' The idea is to encourage 'breaking the ice' and getting everyone introduced to eachother. We've seen people who meet this way become fast friends as the week unfolds.
