This afternoon, as the sun broke through some wintry weather clouds, a beautiful rainbow formed over the Big Beach at Paya Bay. The rainbow literally "started" right in the bay. Just another beautiful example of the Magic of Paya!

very complicated solitaire

If you sit down and think about it sensibly, you come up with some very funny ideas. Like: why make people inquisitive, and then put some forbidden fruit where they can see it with a big neon finger flashing on and off saying 'THIS IS IT!'? ... I mean, why do that if you really don't want them to eat it, eh? I mean, maybe you just want to see how it all turns out. Maybe it's all part of a great big ineffable plan. All of it. You, me, him, everything. Some great big test to see if what you've built all works properly, eh? You start thinking: it can't be a great cosmic game of chess, it has to be just very complicated Solitaire.

thelma and louise: year two

My pups, Thelma and Louise, are now entering the second year of their lives. The girls are sisters from the same litter. They're such sweet, lovable, little rascals!

blissful quality time

I spent the afternoon of this first day of 2014 enjoying some blissful quality time with my two good friends Zulema and Mario. Feeling the energy of unconditional love is always an awesome way to start a new year! I took these photos as we enjoyed a sunset walk on Paya's Seaside Trail.

Cute, funny song and video about Utila, one of Roatan's sister islands in the Bay Islands of Honduras. Utila is considered the "party island," and is one of the cheapest places to get Scuba-certified in the world. As a result, the island, 20 miles west of Roatan, attracts a young, party-oriented segment of the tourism market. It's definitely a fun, crazy, charming island where everything goes!
