alligator head
The "alligator head" rock formation on the west side of Bliss Beach is a particularly magnificent piece of God art in its own right. When the sea is calm, I enjoy swimming alongside it and admiring its massive, rugged, slightly-terrifying beauty.

rocky seascapes
The 22-acre peninsula on which Paya Bay sits is a rare and unique combination of rugged rock formations, splendid half-moon beaches, lush ridges, and quiet coves. Everywhere you look, you'll find lots of organic "eye candy" to enjoy and take in. The best part: All this fascinating natural beauty is easily accessible through our extensive network of nature trails.

majestic rocks
Many of the rock formations at Paya Bay have incredible character. The larger of these two boulders is about 7 feet tall. This pair will be viewable from the Sky Trail, currently under construction. Paya Bay Resort, Roatan Honduras.

nature's "modern" art
Some of the natural rock formations on the Paya Trail are not unlike modern art I've seen at MoMA in Manhattan. This 4 foot tall figure "holds" a light fixture. Paya Bay Resort, Roatan, Honduras.
