touring punta gorda
Yesterday, I accompanied a group of Paya Bay's guests on a tour of the Garífuna town of Punta Gorda, Roatan. This very fun experience included watching some hot and heavy punta dancing and a seafood dinner in an over-the-sea tropical shack.

dance church
Dance Church is a freestyle dance event at Paya Bay Resort where participants are encouraged to "dance their spirit." Those who surrender to the music will soon experience the blissfulness of no longer dancing, but rather *being danced* by Spirit. Sundays, 2-3:30 PM at the Ananda Pavilion, Paya Bay Resort, Roatan, Honduras. "Dance like noboby is watching."

ecstatic dance
My friend Traci and I had our first ecstatic dance session at the Ananda Yoga Pavilion this afternoon. I definitely reached that blissful place where you are no longer dancing, but rather being danced by spirit. Video coming soon!
ECSTATIC DANCE is a freeform conscious dance where movement expands, spirit activates, boundaries melt, boredom ceases, creativity breaks out, hope happens, beauty flows, communities collaborate, ritual is reinvented, harmony resonates. The beat deepens as an electronic tapestry of world rhythms weave us together as individuals within a greater family. Dance as a manifestation of the LIGHT!

exploring dance at ananda
In what was a dream come true for me, last night at the Ananda Movement Center we explored freeform dancing based on the teachings of Gabrielle Roth and her transformational 5Rhythms® "dance as a journey to the soul" methods.
It wasn't long before everyone was being danced by Spirit! It turned out to be an absolutely amazing evening! Paya Bay Resort, Roatan, Honduras.
