The march for peace and democracy took place on a seaside road in Coxen Hole, our main town.

The energy was amazing! So positive. Everyone was smiling and there was a feeling of optimism in the air.

Interestingly, no one was really shouting any nasty things about ousted former President Mel Zelaya. It's like he's in the past and everyone is just happy and relieved he's gone.

There were representatives from all facets of Roatan's multicultural community of locals and ex-pats.
