Você sabe, tão irritado como estou no momento com o governo brasileiro para apoiar a reintegração à presidência hondurenha de um homem que foi removido legalmente por violar nossas leis e nossa Constituição em múltiplas ocasiões, o povo acolhedor brasileiros têm um lugar muito especial em meu coração. Eu tive a sorte de visitar o Rio de Janeiro. É sem dúvida uma das cidades mais belas do planeta. Você merece esse privilégio, e estou muito animado para você. O Rio é uma cidade maravilhosa!

You know, as angry as I am at the moment with the Brazilian government for supporting the reinstatement to the Honduran presidency of a man who was legally removed for breaking our laws and our Constitution on multiple occasions, the sunshine-filled Brazilian people have a very special place in my heart. I have had the good fortune of visiting Rio. It is without a doubt one of the most beautiful cities on the planet. You deserve this privilege and I am very excited for you.
